Job Description

Tyto Athene is searching for highly qualified Cybersecurity Engineer - Senior to support U.S. Southern Command on the SCITES II Contract in Doral, Florida

Responsibilities:

• Engineer and implement security architectures for multi-cloud or hybrid environments.
• Configure cloud-native security tools and services (e.g., AWS Security Hub, Azure Sentinel, Google Chronicle).
• Develop and apply security controls aligned with FedRAMP , DoD Cloud SRG , and NIST 800-53/800-171
• Support RMF and ATO processes including vulnerability management, POA&M tracking, and continuous monitoring.
• Integrate Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA) principles into cloud security strategy.
• Design and deploy Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
• Analyze security events and incidents using SIEM, XDR, and threat intelligence tools.
• Conducts risk assessments, ensures regulatory compliance, continuous monitoring, and incident response. Safeguards cloud environments against threats, ensuring that data and applications are secure, compliant with DoD regulations, and resilient against cyber-attacks.
• Support 24/7/365 operations at Doral, FL, COOP, Exercises, and Deployments

Required:

• 10+ years of experience and HS or AA/AS or BA/BS or MA/MS

Desired:

• Master's Degree in Cloud Computing, Cybersecurity, Systems Architecture, or Information Assurance.

Clearance:

• Top Secret

Certification: Must meet IAT III and IAM Level III or higher certifications:

• Preferred: Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP)
• Preferred: Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)

Must have at least one or more Cloud Platform Certifications:

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
• SC-100: Cybersecurity Architect Expert
• AZ-500: Azure Security Engineer Associate

• Compensation is unique to each candidate and relative to the skills and experience they bring to the position. This does not guarantee a specific salary as compensation is based upon multiple factors such as education, experience, certifications, and other requirements, and may fall outside of the above-stated range.
