The Opportunity:

CACI is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Configuration Data Manager to oversee and maintain accurate configuration documentation and data records throughout the product lifecycle. This role is critical to ensuring consistency and traceability of system configurations in compliance with engineering, program, and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage configuration documentation and control processes for hardware and software systems.
  • Maintain configuration baselines and support change control boards (CCBs).
  • Develop and enforce configuration management policies, plans, and procedures.
  • Coordinate with engineering, quality assurance, and project management teams to ensure accurate documentation.
  • Track and report configuration status, version control, and documentation updates.
  • Maintain databases and digital tools used for configuration control and product data management.
  • Support audits, reviews, and compliance activities related to configuration and data management.


Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Business, or related field; or equivalent experience.
  • 2-5 years of experience in configuration or data management, preferably in a defense, aerospace, or technical environment.
  • Familiarity with configuration management standards (e.g., MIL-STD-973, EIA-649).
  • Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Experience with PLM tools, databases, or configuration management systems (e.g., Windchill, Teamcenter, CMPro).
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • Active DoD SECRET Security Clearance


Desired
  • Experience supporting government or DoD programs.
  • Certification in Configuration Management (CMPIC, CMII, or similar).

The proposed salary range for this position is:
$73,800-$155,100
