Elucidation Concepts is seeking a highly experienced and cleared Software Engineer (SWE) to support
mission-critical programs of significant scope, complexity, and impact. The ideal candidate will have a
robust background in software development with deep experience in complex system architectures and
large-scale data processing. This role requires 20 years of relevant experience, strong technical acumen,
and the ability to work in a high-security environment.
Qualifications:
• A minimum of twenty (20) years of experience as a Software Engineer in programs and contracts
of similar scope, type, and complexity.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline from an accredited college or
university.
o Note: Four (4) additional years of SWE experience on projects with similar software
processes may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with current polygraph is required.
Required Technical Experience:
• At least six (6) years of demonstrated experience (within the most recent eight years) developing
production software for Solaris or Linux operating systems.
• A minimum of six (6) years of experience developing software using Java, C, or C++.
• Demonstrated experience developing RESTful services.
Desired Experience:
• Development and integration of voice or video processing systems, including ingest of multiple
audio/video formats, end-user playback, storage, and retrieval.
• Systems supporting average ingest, storage, and retrieval of 500GB/day or more of multilingual
text content.
• Experience with distributed peer-to-peer content storage and retrieval systems with more than 500
nodes.
• Proficiency in metadata indexing, metadata summarization, content and metadata mining, and
advanced visualization and analytics techniques.
