Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. $75,200-$158,100

The Opportunity:
CACI is seeking an experienced Linux Systems Administrator Journeyman to support U.S. Southern Command (USSOUTHCOM) in Doral, Florida. This position is contingent upon award of the USSOUTHCOM Cyber Information Technology Enterprise Services (SCITES) contract.
Responsibilities:
- Installs, configures, and maintains Linux servers and associated software applications, in support of Enterprise Data Center operations
- Performs regular system updates, patches, and upgrades to ensure server stability and security
- Monitors server performance and troubleshoots issues to ensure optimal functionality
- Operates, sustains, and backs up the server (physical/virtual) IAW applicable policies
- Monitors the operation of the server (physical/virtual) to ensure proper operation and troubleshoot, analyze, isolate, and document the root cause of issues that arise
- Provides day-to-day operations by maintaining , managing, monitoring, and patching for Information Assurance Vulnerability Alert (IAVA) and non-IAVA compliance and administering server systems on the Enterprise IT
- Ensures secure access to Linux systems, maintaining proper permissions and user management
- Possesses and applies expertise on multiple, complex work assignments
- Operates with appreciable latitude in developing methodology and presenting solutions to problems
Qualifications:
Required:
- US citizen with active Secret security clearance
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field of study
- At least one of the following certifications: CompTIA Linux + or Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA)
- 3-5 years of relevant experience
- Possesses and applies expertise on multiple complex work assignments while supporting multiple projects
- Operates with appreciable latitude in developing methodology and presenting solutions to problems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience with change management tools and ITSM platforms (ServiceNow)
