Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Sr. Python Developer with a proven track record in designing and implementing AI solutions. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in developing AI applications using Python libraries and popular AI toolkits, as well as proven track record and hands-on experience in delivering solutions leveraging AWS AI services.
You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to architect, design, and deploy innovative AI solutions that drive business value and meet specific analytics requirements.

Salary Range
The proposed salary range for this role is $130,000.00 to $160,000.00 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Sr. Python Developer with a proven track record in designing and implementing AI solutions. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in developing AI applications using Python libraries and popular AI toolkits, as well as proven track record and hands-on experience in delivering solutions leveraging AWS AI services.
You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to architect, design, and deploy innovative AI solutions that drive business value and meet specific analytics requirements.
What You'll Do:
- Develop scalable AI/ML applications using Python and relevant libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn)
- Integrate AI capabilities into existing software systems
- Work closely with Solution Architects, Dev Leads, data SMEs and data engineers to establish repeatable data preparation processes in line with MLOps principles
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's/Master's in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field
- 8-10 years of professional Python development experience
- Proven experience in AI/machine learning project implementation
- In-depth understanding of the Python software development stacks, ecosystems, frameworks and tools such as Numpy, Scipy, Pandas, Dask, spaCy, NLTK, sci-kit-learn and PyTorch
- Experience with popular Python frameworks such as Django, Flask or Pyramid
- Experience with Jupyter Notebooks
- Experience with EDA and data visualization libraries such as Matplotlib, Seaborn, pygWalker, etc.
Additional Technical Requirements:
- Advanced SQL skills
- Familiarity with Git version control
- Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker) and orchestration tools (e.g., Kubernetes)
- Experience working with AWS Cloud platform
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with deep learning frameworks
- Knowledge of natural language processing
- AI model optimization techniques
- Experience with developer AI tools such as Microsoft Co-Pilot is a plus
- Experience with work flow orchestration tools such as Temporal.io, Camunda is a plus.
Experience with integrating USWDS compliant components with Angular storybook is a plus
