The Level 2 Computer Network Operations (CNO) Analyst/Engineer shall possess the following capabilities:
(U) Ability to install and configure anti-virus software and spy-ware protection software.
(U) Ability to design, write, and execute software test plans.
(U) Capable of accurately describing lab design, tool usage, and tool testing procedures.
(U) Ability to script using Python, Perl, VB script, or Unix shell scripts.
(U) Ability to install and configure network security devices, such as firewalls and network Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS}.
(U) Ability to perform configuration management, IP management, and troubleshooting.
(U) Design and implement network architecture scenarios containing various operating system and application versions to include Linux, Solaris, and Windows.
(U) Ability to replicate real world network and system scenarios in a lab environment.
