Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Expertly plan and coordinate all movements of prototypes developed under the TITUS scope, ensuring seamless, secure, and timely transportation, crucial for maintaining project schedules and operational efficiency.
- Diligently organize the transport, storage, and delivery of Other Direct Costs (ODC) purchases for TITUS TDP assignments, meticulously maintaining accurate inventory and logistics records vital for financial and operational transparency.
- Effectively coordinate shipments with vendors, Government officials, project teams, and the TITUS Program Management Team, facilitating clear, proactive communication and robust collaboration to ensure project milestones are met.
- Strategically plan and assign work tasks to staff, optimizing resource management and prioritizing activities to consistently meet project deadlines, contributing to project success and team effectiveness.
- Conduct thorough reviews of Logistics Plans and carrier assignments, providing expert input and guidance to the Product Support Team to expedite the movement of materials and prototypes, mitigating potential delays and ensuring smooth operations.
- Provide expert supervision and mentorship to subordinate project and Team ManTech staff, fostering professional growth, encouraging a positive team environment, and enhancing overall team performance.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 5 years of documented, position-relevant work experience in product support or logistics, demonstrating practical expertise and understanding of logistics processes.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, essential for documentation, communication, and data analysis.
- In-depth knowledge and/or practical experience with DoD secure logistics processes, ensuring compliance and security in all operations.
- Comprehensive knowledge and/or practical experience working with the Defense Priorities and Allocations System (DPAS), vital for managing resources in a defense context.
- Possession of the Defense Acquisition University (DAU) Logistics Level II certification, affirming specialized training and competence in logistics management.
- Proven experience with both air freight and ground freight logistics, demonstrating versatility and understanding of various transportation modes.
- Detailed knowledge of dangerous goods/restricted article regulations, ensuring compliance and safety in handling and transport.
Clearance Requirements:
- Required Secret clearance.
Physical Requirements:
- The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
