In this role, you will develop and execute talent strategies, enable a culture of inclusion, and deploy organizational effectiveness tools that attract reward, engage, retain, and develop our talented workforce.
This role will support three to four Sr. Director level leaders and their teams across our Controls and Avionics Solutions (CAS) and Power and Propulsion Solutions (PPS) business areas and report directly to the CAS/PPS Director, Human Resources. In this role, you'll be a team that develops and delivers critical flight controls to commercial and defense aerospace customers and delivers clean energy solutions to customers on the ground and in the skies.
The preferred location for this position is Endicott, NY but we will also consider talent local to Fort Wayne, IN.
Because this role involves a combination of collaborative/in-person and independent work, it will take the form of a hybrid work format with 25% travel to key sites other than the core site location (key sites in Endicott, New York; Fort Wayne, Indiana; and Austin, Texas). The hybrid work expectations for this role are three days per week on site during a 5-day work week and two days per week during a 4-day work week.

Full-Time Salary Range: $135556 - $230444
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Create and execute an agile, yet sustainable people strategy that advances critical business priorities and supports the attraction, development, and retention of our talent - while embracing the future of work.
- Lead and/or partner (with COEs) on items including, but not limited to talent acquisition, talent development, leadership development, succession planning, people and culture, organizational effectiveness, performance development and total rewards.
- Orchestrate key talent movement with an aim towards building high performance teams and robust succession.
- Partner with leaders to evaluate the effectiveness of their teams and their organizational design. Facilitate workshops to re-evaluate existing structures, where needed. Lead change management efforts and new leader onboarding/assimilation activities, as required.
- Counsel / coach leaders across the integrated team on matters concerning development of their organization to enhance effectiveness and potential. Connect leaders to the right resources to support their own development and the development/effectiveness of their teams.
- Serve as a member of the CAS/PPS HR Business Partner team, actively partnering with other team members across the function and business to drive innovative, strategic, and consistent people strategies across Electronic Systems sector.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
- 10+ years of HR experience and a Bachelor degree, OR 8+ years experience and a Master degree OR 6+ years experience with a PhD
- Must be willing to travel outside of the local area up to 25% if local to Fort Wayne, IN or Endicott, NY; 50%+ if not local to one of those two areas.
- This is a hybrid position with a mix of on-site and remote presence.

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
- Experience in an HR Business Partner role supporting an organization with a population of 500+ employees.
- Previous experience working for an electronics manufacturing, commercial aerospace, or defense company.
- Proven experience serving as a coach to senior leaders for their organization on HR matters relating to organizational strategies and business imperatives.
- Business acumen, be innovative, adapt well to change and work collaboratively with strategic influence to drive initiatives across a matrixed environment.
- Deep knowledge of HR fundamentals (talent acquisition, total rewards, performance management, employee relations, people and culture, organizational change, learning and development, and organization effectiveness).
- Ability to develop and present senior level leaders with data-driven solutions that will effectively advance business strategies and drive change throughout their organizations.
- Project management and prioritization skills with proven attention to detail.
- Analytical skills to draw appropriate conclusions from data, anticipating second and third order of effects when making recommendations.
- Demonstrated ability to drive positive, sustainable change within organizations.
- Experience working with unionized workforce.
