The Level I CNO Reverse Engineer shall possess the following capabilities:
(U) Program in Assembly, C, C#, C++, Java, Perl, or Python
(U) Administer and use hardware and software reverse engineering tools
(U) Program using CNO tools and techniques
(U) Use software version control tools (e.g., Subversion and CVS)
(U) Create and brief technical presentations
Required Skills
Qualifications: Requires a Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., computer science, information systems, and network engineering) from an accredited college or university and four (4) years of relevant experience in the field (e.g., computer science, information systems, and network engineering) to include two (2) years of demonstrated experience in either hardware or software reverse engineering. A Master's degree in a relevant discipline may be substituted for two (2) years of experience, reducing the requirement to two (2) years of relevant experience to include one (1) year of demonstrated experience in either hardware or software reverse engineering. In lieu of a Bachelor's Degree, an additional four (4) years of relevant experience in the field may be substituted for a total of eight (8) years to include four (4) years of demonstrated experience in either hardware or software reverse engineering.
