Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with SharePoint Administrators, Content Managers, and business users to address content management needs, troubleshoot site issues, and implement solutions.
- Gather and document requirements through direct client engagement to support enhancements, maintenance, development, and system testing.
- Design, create, and enhance SharePoint sites, pages, libraries, lists, and web parts, ensuring compliance with internal development standards and policies.
- Conduct SharePoint 2013 and 2019 training for users at various levels (beginner to advanced), and provide ongoing support for content owners and administrators.
- Offer Tier 2/Tier 3 support for SharePoint 2013/2019 and SharePoint Online, including issue resolution, ticket tracking, and status reporting using web-based tools.
- Act as a key contributor to project-based initiatives, providing SharePoint-related development or configuration for specific functional objectives.
- Collaborate with infrastructure teams for issue resolution and solution implementation as needed.
- Maintain and update technical documentation, user guides, and knowledge bases related to SharePoint operations and support procedures.
- Regularly release product news flashes that highlight key Microsoft product updates or changes affecting operations.
- Ensure complete visibility and accountability of support issues through timely updates to the tracking system.
`Required Skills:
- Must possess active DoD Top Secret clearance and be able to obtain and maintain SCI eligibility.
- 5+ years of experience in web, database, and application design, development, and implementation of complex systems.
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience with SharePoint 2013/2019.
- Experience with Tier 2/Tier 3 support for SharePoint platforms, including SharePoint Online.
- Proficiency in building SharePoint applications using custom Web Parts, master pages, features, site definitions, and solution packaging and deployment.
- Intermediate skills in out-of-the-box web part customization.
- Strong collaboration skills for resolving technical SharePoint issues across functional teams.
- BS/BA in Information Systems, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Excellent communication and presentation
Preferred Skills:
- Prior experience working in federal government environments.
- Experience delivering SharePoint training to end users or administrators.
- Preferred certifications include:
- MCSD: SharePoint Applications
- MCSE: SharePoint
- MCIPT: SharePoint Administrator 2013/2019
- MCTS: Microsoft SharePoint 2013/2019 (Application Development or Configuring)
- Knowledge of SharePoint Designer 2013/2019 and/or Visual Studio.
