VoIP Engineer

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a VoIP Engineer to join a National Security Contract located in Pearl City, HI through 100% full onsite presence . The Juniper-focused VoIP Engineer will design, build, modify and maintain a VoIP system for a US Government customer, enhancing redundancy, improving existing infrastructure, and ensuring long-term maintenance.

Responsibilities of the VoIP Engineer include:

• Engineer VoIP systems - design, build, modify, and maintain
• Implement redundancy solutions to enhance system reliability & performance
• Optimize VoIP infrastructure using Cisco Unified Border Element (CUBE) +
• Ensure security and compliance by applying DOD regulations
• Coordinate with stakeholders and technical teams to align VoIP solutions with mission needs
• Maintain documentation and provide ongoing technical support for VoIP system enhancements

Qualifications of the Network VoIP Engineer include:

• 2+ years of experience with Cisco Unified Border Element (CUBE)
• Cisco Certified Specialist - Collaboration Applications Implementations certification
• Sec+, GSEC, SCNP, or SSCP
• Knowledge of ITIL processed and/or ITIL Certification
• Experience with IAVM process
• Strong customer service, organizational, and time management skills
• Active Secret clearance

Compensation for the VoIP Engineer includes:

• Salary Range: $130,000-$150,000 **depending on experience**
