This fully remote position is ideal for an established attorney who thrives in a fast-paced, litigation-focused environment and is looking for long-term career growth within a collaborative legal team.
Position Overview
We are seeking a seasoned Employment Law Attorney with 15+ years of experience in employment litigation, including expertise in PAGA-inclusive claims, school district defense, and third-party administrator panels. You will work with public entities and educational institutions, handling complex employment disputes and guiding clients through litigation strategy, defense, and compliance matters.
Key Requirements
15+ years of employment law defense experience (mandatory)
Proven background in school district employment defense
Experience working with school third-party administrator employment panels
Extensive knowledge of PAGA, wage & hour, and class action claims
Trial experience preferred but not required
Background in public entity defense is a strong plus
JD from an accredited U.S. law school
Active California Bar license in good standing
Excellent research, writing, negotiation, and analytical skills
Commitment to proactive case management and litigation strategy
