The Information Technology and Data Analytics (IT&DA) organization within our client's Specialized Infrastructure Operations group is seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Administrator to join their team in Herndon, VA.
This role supports the Mission Operations Portfolio, delivering complex, mission-critical solutions for both commercial and government clients. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical expertise, a collaborative mindset, and a passion for innovation in high-stakes environments.

This role supports the Mission Operations Portfolio, delivering complex, mission-critical solutions for both commercial and government clients. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical expertise, a collaborative mindset, and a passion for innovation in high-stakes environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee system integration, hardware/software installation, and configuration of servers and workstations.
- Provide advanced problem resolution, root cause analysis, and technical support for delivery systems.
- Participate in the design, validation, and configuration management of computing systems.
- Plan and coordinate system changes and upgrades.
- Administer user access and implement safeguards to meet stringent security requirements.
- Monitor system performance to support capacity planning and disaster recovery.
- Mentor and train junior team members, providing leadership in technical areas.
- Active Top Secret Clearance SCI & Enrolled in CE program.
- Active Full Scope Polygraph.
- 5+ years of experience as a systems administrator.
- 5+ years of experience working in cross-functional environments, including collaboration with executive leadership.
- 5+ years of related work experience or equivalent education and experience.
- Active certifications in Cloud, INFOSEC, or related fields.
- Experience with Virtualization technologies (e.g., AHV, VMware ESXi, Hyper-V).
- Familiarity with VDI infrastructure, system monitoring, and security best practices.
- Experience documenting Confluence and tracking tasks in Jira.
