CACI is seeking a highly motivated Manufacturing Project Manager to join our team supporting NavalX within the Office of Naval Research (ONR). This exciting role offers a unique opportunity to lead the prototyping and productization of an unmanned vessel. Establish and optimize a cutting-edge production line. Drive innovation at the intersection of advanced technology and national defense. Manage complex projects from concept to full-scale production. Work at the forefront of naval technology development.
You'll leverage your expertise in manufacturing processes, production optimization, logistics management, and project leadership to oversee cutting-edge naval technology development. This dynamic position may involve managing one or two large projects or multiple smaller ones, putting you at the center of maritime defense innovation.

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:
$82,100-$172,400

Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, including budgets and timelines.
- Manage stakeholder expectations and communicate project progress, risks, and milestones.
- Monitor project schedule and performance to ensure timely delivery.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with scaling up manufacturing for large-scale maritime platforms.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including engineers, designers, production staff, and subcontractors.
- Implement project management best practices and quality control processes.
- Manage change requests and scope adjustments.
- Lead problem-solving efforts for technical or operational issues
- Facilitate transition from prototype to full-scale production.
- Develop and track key performance indicators for project success and production efficiency.
- Author and maintain prototyping and production processes and standard work instructions.
- Coordinate with suppliers and partners for timely equipment delivery.
- Conduct post-project reviews to capture lessons learned and implement improvements.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Bachelor's Degree preferably in an engineering discipline.
- Minimum of 7 years of professional work experience in technical and project management roles.
- Experience managing manufacturing projects requiring technical knowledge with Naval vessels.
- Proficiency in Earned Value Management System (EVMS) tracking and metrics.
- Ability to read 3 D Printing engineering technical drawings submersible naval vessels.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Intermediate to advanced skills with Microsoft Project and Microsoft Office suite.
- Demonstrated technical writing skills.
- Proven team leadership and interpersonal skills.
- U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a DOD Secret security clearance.
Desired:
- PMP or equivalent certification.
- Experience working with the United States Navy, Department of Defense, or maritime maintenance.
- Advanced knowledge of lean manufacturing principles.
- Familiarity with rapid prototyping technologies and processes.
