Koniag IT Systems, LLC is seeking an experienced Senior Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Analyst to support critical imagery exploitation and intelligence collection efforts for the United States Navy. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in geospatial analysis, imagery interpretation, and intelligence reporting. This position requires an active TS/SCI clearance.

Education and Experience:
- Bachelor of Science degree: 5-7 years of experience in a related field.
- Master of Science degree: 3-5 years of experience in a related field.
- PhD: 0-2 years of experience in a related field
Essential responsibilities, Functions, & Duties
- The Senior GIS Analyst will produce orthorectified Electro-Optical (panchromatic and multi-spectral) and SAR imagery from national, tactical, and commercial sensors using his/her ability to view imagery in stereo to assist with the analysis of littoral and riverine environments within Surf Eagle production.
- The Senior GIS Analyst will analyze and edit Digital Terrain Elevation Data (DTED), Shuttle RADAR Topography Mission (SRTM) and Light Detection and Ranging (LiDAR) elevation datasets for accuracy and coverage
- If the accuracy and coverage of the existing datasets are not sufficient to produce the product requested, The Senior GIS Analyst will generate an auto-correlate of the elevation dataset utilizing stereo-pair imagery.
- Elevation dataset products include, but are not limited to, Digital Terrain Models (DTM), target spot heights, beach slope profiles, perspective scenes, contour maps, and temporal river water levels
- The Senior GIS Analyst will produce derived geospatial datasets and products using algorithms provided by the Government and in accordance with NSG and department standards.
- The Senior GIS Analyst will support the Commander's requirements for intelligence reporting by providing situational awareness and valuable intelligence to the SEP, to include NAVOCEANO, Naval Oceanography Operations Command (NOOC), FNMOC, Naval Oceanography Anti-submarine Warfare Center (NOAC), etc.).
- The Senior GIS Analyst will provide intelligence information in the form of daily reports, daily briefs, emails, meetings, and briefs.
- The Senior GIS Analyst Provide a weekly worldwide intelligence brief to ensure the COMNAVMETOCCOM commands have the most up to date intelligence information affecting operations worldwide.
- The Senior GIS Analyst will provide time sensitive short turnaround and long term actionable environmental intelligence.
- The Senior GIS Analyst will perform tasks identified in NP2's CONOPS, and NAVOCEANO's Command Vision to "Conduct smart collections, focused analysis and responsive delivery".
- The Senior GIS Analyst will identify high profile target areas of potential friendly or hostile future operations.
- The Senior GIS Analyst will recommend targets as anticipatory requirements for production and rapidly disseminate completed products to the appropriate warfighters, Combatant Commands (COCOMs) and the IC.
Required Skills and Competencies:
- Proficiency with image processing to be able to take ground control, triangulate and orthorectify imagery.
- Ability to conduct daily intelligence research to provide information of use and searching message traffic and intelligence reports to identify threats, adversary movements, adversaries' existing and new capabilities
- Work independently or as part of a team as needed.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication abilities
