StraCon Services Group, LLC is seeking a Full Time Program Manager, Senior in Patuxent River, MD, to support a Major NAVAIR Acquisition/Operations contract . The Program Manager will act as the overall lead, manager and administrator for the contracted effort. In addition, the Program Manager will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following requirements:

Essential Job Duties:
• Serves as the primary interface and point of contact with Government program authorities and representatives on technical and program/project issues.
• Supervises contractor personnel program/project operations by developing procedures, planning and directing execution of the technical, programming, maintenance and administrative support effort and monitoring and reporting progress.
• Manages acquisition and employment of program/project resources and controls financial and administrative aspects of the program with respect to contract requirements.
• Develop and maintain program roadmaps, timelines, and resource plans.
• Monitor and report on program progress, risks, and issues, providing solutions and mitigation strategies as needed.
• Coordinate with internal teams, stakeholders, and external partners to ensure timely delivery of projects.
• Foster a collaborative environment, ensuring clear communication across all departments and levels of the organization.
• Track and manage budgets, timelines, and scope changes to ensure programs are delivered within agreed-upon constraints.
• Develop and maintain program documentation, including status reports, risk logs, and project plans.

Experience Requirements:
• A minimum of twelve (12) years of professional experience in the Defense acquisition, three (3) years of which must have been in the previous six (6) years, in support of Navy Acquisition management; and a minimum of three (3) years supervisory experience.
• Demonstrated experience with aircraft systems, hardware and software, configuration control, test and evaluation, systems integration, and systems supportability.
• Demonstrated Experience in initiating and maintaining technical direction within broad program objectives directly related to aircraft systems, hardware and software, configuration control, test and evaluation, systems integration, and systems supportability.
• Demonstrated knowledge Knowledgeable of acquisition policies, procedures and knowledge of and experience with the requirements of the DOD 5000 series.
• Demonstrated experience in the tracking of program/project contract status’s.
• Demonstrated ability to work with large and diverse teams and the ability to effectively provide guidance, direction, and supervision in all areas of contracted effort such as:
• Program Management
• Systems Engineering
• Major System Acquisitions
• Financial Management
• Foreign Military Sales (FMS).
Desired Experience:
• Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Naval aircraft/weapons maintenance and handlining experience.
• Ability to work with corporate resources to recruit, develop and retain talented professionals over the life of the program.
• Ability to work with corporate subcontract managers to oversee and direct subcontractors.
Education Requirements:
• MA/MS Degree in a business, management or relevant technical discipline.
• Allowable Substitution: BA/BS Degree and an additional Six (6) years’ of experience
Security Requirements:
• U.S. Citizenship required.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.

The estimated base salary range for this position is $135,000.00 - $184,000.00 . The offered rate will be based on the selected candidates level of knowledge, education, experience and skill sets.
