This role plays a key part in enabling mission success by organizing, structuring, and optimizing information for operational readiness and partner collaboration, especially during joint military exercises. Although not a supervisory position, this role may be responsible for shaping the IMKM vision and aligning practices with Army mission goals, enterprise knowledge standards, and collaborative defense priorities with secure data governance.

This role plays a key part in enabling mission success by organizing, structuring, and optimizing information for operational readiness and partner collaboration, especially during joint military exercises. Key Responsibilities
- Information Strategy & Execution
- Establish and implement IMKM processes aligned with Army knowledge and data standards.
- Design content structures and metadata frameworks in SharePoint Online (Army365) to support mission execution and content reuse.
- Apply and enforce data governance principles to ensure accurate classification, access, and lifecycle management
Military Exercise and Collaboration Support
- Support U.S. and partner-nation exercises by identifying knowledge flow, simulation data needs, and collaboration policy requirements.
- Gather, document, and organize strategic and tactical information from stakeholders.
- Translate requirements into structured content and usable knowledge assets.
- Serve as a resource for knowledge capture, information flow, and after-action content management.
- Maintain clear documentation, content libraries, and shared knowledge environments.
Platform & Policy Alignment
- Utilize SharePoint Online to build and maintain repositories, libraries, and dashboards aligned with CUI and Army policy.
- Apply knowledge of military documentation practices to ensure information is accessible and appropriately secured.
- Manage SharePoint environments with a strong understanding of permissions, access roles, and secure content sharing practices.
- Support content classification, including CUI, and align permissions to user roles and mission phases.
- Provide recommendations for scalable content structures that enable controlled collaboration.
Engagement & Communication
- Gather user requirements through active listening and engagement with military personnel, exercise planners, and partner teams.
- Serve as a bridge between operational needs and technical content solutions.
- Contribute to IMKM briefings, job aids, and training content to enhance adoption and understanding.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree with 5+ years of experience
- An active secret security clearance or the ability to obtain one
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience or familiarity with Power BI, Power Automate, and Power Apps.
- Experience supporting military exercises and multinational defense collaboration.
- Working knowledge of SharePoint Online (Army365), metadata structures, and digital content organization.
- Familiarity with simulation data, types of military exercises, and policies guiding multinational collaboration.
- Strong understanding of data governance and permission configuration in secure environments.
- Ability to gather, synthesize, and structure requirements in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage at both strategic and tactical levels.
- Ability to synthesize operational needs into structured, accessible knowledge environments.
- Ability to guide others in executing data visualization, workflow automation, or low-code solutions to meet mission requirements.
- Knowledge of Army IMKM or DoD KM doctrine.
- Experience supporting Army divisions, commands, or interoperability programs.
- Understanding simulation-driven planning and exercise lifecycle documentation.
