The Project Analyst II provides mid-level project management support for Department of Defense (DoD) health IT initiatives, including JOMIS and PARATUS system deployments. This role is responsible for managing integrated master schedules (IMS), work breakdown structures (WBS), and requirements traceability while ensuring accurate status tracking, risk management, and cross-module consistency for readiness IT initiatives. The analyst will play a key role in coordinating project execution, facilitating reporting, and supporting Navy operational planning efforts.

Type of Employment: Full-time, W2
Work Location/Travel: Remote with up to 25% travel to client sites including Navy installations; relocation not required

Salary Range $85,000 - $105,000 annually (W2, depending on experience and qualifications)
Role Reports to: Program Manager
Direct Reports: This role has no direct reports

Responsibilities:

  • Manage project execution activities, including IMS and WBS management and requirements traceability for JOMIS deployments.

  • Track and report project status, risks, and metrics across multiple readiness IT initiatives.

  • Maintain project risk logs and ensure consistent reporting across PARATUS profiling components.

  • Support cross-module coordination and ensure alignment of project activities with operational readiness objectives.

  • Facilitate communication and coordination between technical teams, leadership, and stakeholders.

  • Assist in developing project documentation and reporting deliverables.

  • Monitor project schedules and provide updates to leadership on progress and potential risks.

Knowledge and Skills Required:

  • Proficient in project management practices, including schedule management, risk tracking, and status reporting.

  • Strong understanding of IMS, WBS, and requirements traceability processes.

  • Effective collaboration and coordination skills within large program environments.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and ensure consistency across project components.

Education/Certification Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Business, Project Management, or related field

Experience Required:

  • 6 to 12 years of experience in project tracking, status reporting, and deployment support for IT or healthcare-related projects.

  • Proven experience supporting project execution activities, including schedule and risk management.

Technical Skills Required:

  • Proficiency in project management tools for schedule tracking, WBS management, and risk log maintenance.

  • Familiarity with DoD project management frameworks and readiness IT initiatives.

Desirable (Not Required) Skills/Experience:

  • Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt certification.

  • Experience with Navy operational planning cycles.

  • Background in project execution for defense healthcare systems such as JOMIS and PARATUS.
