We are seeking a Project Scheduling & Systems Engineering Specialist to drive efficiency and streamline project workflows using Microsoft Project Server and key Microsoft Office applications. You will be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining schedules for developmental systems, production systems, and short-term/long-term organizational projects.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED plus twenty-four (24) years of general systems engineering experience, OR
Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university AND a minimum of twenty (20) years of general systems engineering experience, OR
Master’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university AND a minimum of eighteen (18) years of general systems engineering experience.
Skills and Abilities:
Strong Systems Engineering background, with experience in project scheduling & workflow automation.
Expertise in Microsoft Project Server, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and application plug-ins.
Ability to develop advanced reporting templates using scripting technologies.
Exceptional technical communication & presentation skills.
A strategic mindset, eager to drive efficiency and collaboration.
Desired Skills:
Experience in Project Portfolio Management (PPM) with experience analyzing portfolio and program schedules, issues, and risks.
Familiarity with Project Web App/Project Online.
Ability to create data filters and formulas based on discrete logic.
Demonstrated experience developing and maintaining program Roadmaps and Integrated Multi-project Schedule(i.e. projects with sub-projects).
Demonstrated ability using built-in Microsoft graphing and charting tools to generate reports and report templates.
