We are seeking a Systems Engineer located in Chantilly, VA to work on an exciting, fast-paced program. This position provides engineering and technical advisory services supporting an operations entity.
What will you do?
- Develop and deliver plans, assessments, reports, and briefings to the Customer
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and seek to resolve systems engineering gaps, especially as it concerns end-to-end product compatibility.
- Review and make recommendations for future programs and provide support to program requirements, planning, and execution.
- Provide program technical and contract support
- Provide subject matter expertise advisory services to the Customer regarding strategy, operations, and management of programs.
Do you have what it takes?
- TS/SCI with Poly
- Bachelor's degree
- 7 years of relevant experience and master's in relevant field or 9 years of relevant experience with a bachelor's degree.
- Experienced, innovative, and highly motivated Senior Systems Engineer
- Experience in effective tools for monitoring project progress and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and stakeholders
- Strong technical leadership in evaluating and recommending courses of action on activities impacting data collection, processing and dissemination, testing, and infrastructure systems engineering.
- Highly skilled at migrating new capabilities into an enterprise environment while ensuring approaches maintain operational effectiveness of legacy systems.
- Ability to work as a bridge and communicate complex technical activities across junior engineers and senior leadership.
- Ability to review, document, track and communicate project progress to senior government leadership and industry partners
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and deliverables simultaneously.
- Self-motivated with strong interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and with a team.
- Articulate verbal and written communicator; confident in presenting and explaining recommendations and analyses to all levels of seniority.
- Ability to operate effectively with contractor, SETA, FFRDC, and Customer teammates.
