Description:You will be the Industrial Engineer for the Industrial Engineering team. Our team is responsible for implementing process improvements and developing analytics tools to optimize production areas and drive business results. We develop and track key manufacturing health metrics to ensure efficient operations.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Industrial Engineer, you will be responsible for conducting industrial engineering activities, driving continuous improvement projects, and capturing cost savings. Your responsibilities will include:
• Developing and implementing process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs
• Analyzing data to identify trends and areas for improvement, and presenting recommendations to management
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to plan and execute new production areas and develop analytics tools • Tracking and reporting cost and schedule performance to ensure project success

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance.
Basic Qualifications:
-Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering or similar Engineering degree
-Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma
-Ability to obtain Security Clearance
-Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite tools: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Project, etc.
Desired Skills:
- Tableau/SQL/Python/Data Analytics experience
- Experience in engineering software tools commonly used such as AutoCAD or Creo and Simulation Software (such as SIMIO, Process Sim, or others)
- Manufacturing Experience
- Facilities Layout/Factory Design Experience
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
