One Federal Solution is seeking a highly qualified Regional Multilateral Analyst Level IV to support the Department of State in advancing U.S. arms transfer policy, regional security, and multilateral engagement initiatives. This position plays a key role in shaping public policy, drafting regulatory changes, and preparing high-level briefings to support senior officials across international and interagency platforms.
Responsibilities Include:
Lead the planning and implementation of policies, regulations, and legislation related to arms transfers, confidence-building measures, and regional security
Draft, publish, and implement regulatory changes to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR)
Review and analyze proposed regulatory changes by other agencies to assess impact on Department equities
Prepare detailed briefing materials for senior Department officials for engagements with U.S. government counterparts, foreign officials, and NGOs
Develop recommendations and strategic approaches to resolve complex, high-level issues affecting international security policy
Apply advanced theories and analysis to policy problems not addressed by conventional methods
Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to drive mission-critical policy outcomes
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Business Administration or a related field
At least 5 years of experience in a related field
Active Secret clearance (with ability to obtain Top Secret or TS/SCI)
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Excellent organizational and analytical skills
Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision and sound judgment
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Willingness to travel domestically and/or internationally, as required
