Job Description: Join the dynamic Mano Lani team! We're looking for a results-driven Engineer (EM2) to deliver top-tier system administration for both physical and virtual environments. In this role, you'll ensure smooth operation of servers, support data center and cloud infrastructure, and drive data analysis and management efforts. Be part of a high-energy team supporting critical Government IT operations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
* Provide technical support in the principles, techniques and practices of mechanical engineering, electrical/electronics engineering and/or naval architecture as they relate to aircraft carrier hull, mechanical and electrical (HM&E), aviation and electronic shipboard systems. These tasks require extensive knowledge in the area of, but not limited to aircraft carrier maintenance philosophy, ship installation drawings, RCM principles and ship operations as well as the ability to organize data in a cohesive manner to submit finding for evaluation and action
* Provide technical support for the development and management and refinement of the non-nuclear CMP, BAWPs and modernization for execution during CVN availabilities. Requires ensuring technical requirements, periodicities and associated configuration are current within each assigned CMP maintenance requirement
* Collect, manage and analyze data (e.g., maintenance, risk, material condition) of specified systems or components based on specific criteria and submit finding for evaluation and action
* Assist in development of life-cycle strategies for aircraft carrier distributive systems and select component
* Develop, maintain and report metrics as required
Qualifications Education/Experience Requirements:
* Bachelor's level degree in mechanical engineering
* 10+ years' professional experience in engineering
* Data analytics & maintenance and modernization experience related to aircraft carriers, naval ships, or large ship design, construction, or maintenance
Must be a US Citizen able to obtain and maintain the required security clearance for the position- SECRET
Physical Requirements:
* Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods of time.
* Position may require typing and reading from a computer screen.
* Must have sufficient mobility, including but not limited to bending, reaching, and kneeling to complete daily duties in a timely and efficient manner.
* Possible lifting up to 25 lbs.
