Overview

LMI is seeking a skilled DOE Program Support Analyst at our client office in Washington, DC. The position requires performing program management support for the National Nuclear Security Administration. The National Nuclear Security Administration is responsible for maintaining and enhancing the safety, security, and effectiveness of the U.S. nuclear weapons stockpile without nuclear explosive testing; working to reduce global danger from weapons of mass destruction; providing the U.S. Navy with safe and effective nuclear propulsion; and responding to nuclear and radiological emergencies in the United States and beyond.

Responsibilities

  • Provide organizational support to the SES level director of the Office of Warhead Assembly and Non-Nuclear Modernization. Manage front-office functions to support the office and director.
  • Execute technical content reviews and provide reccommendations on enhancements.
  • Manage the relationship and messaging/information flow between the program and other offices within Defense Programs and the NNSA.
  • Track/monitor incoming taskers, identifying responsible parties and driving completion.
  • Track and monitor status of recapitalization, energy, environmental, and social justice projects.
  • Analyze/evaluate internal policies, procedures, and processes and recommend improvements.
  • Assist with project management and action officer functions.
  • Manage all assigned incoming/outgoing correspondence and suspense actions.
  • Analyze and respond to internal and external stakeholder queries, including NNSA leadership and congressional staff.
  • Provide communication support that shall assist with managing enterprise-level internal and external communications channels, products, and partnerships.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required, technical discipline preferred
  • 5+ years of work experience or Master's degree with 3+ years of work experience
  • Excellent organizational skills, ability to establish and maintain working relationships with internal and external staff members, and the ability to work independently and take a proactive role.
  • Ability to work, at times, with multiple ambiguous projects
  • Ability to navigate complex organizations
  • Demonstrated ability to use MS Office Suite to include Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving, and presentation skills
  • Excellent client relationship management skills
  • This position requires an active security clearance at the Top Secret level or equivalent You must be a US citizen.


Target salary range: $81,000 - $139,000
