The annual pay for this position is $150,000 - $185,400.

Summary:
We are looking for a Risk Manager.
Responsibilities
Essential Job Functions:
- Shall develop, maintain, update, and distribute/deliver organizational Risk Management Standard Operating Procedures (SOPS) and monitor program activities for consistency with the approved SOPs.
- Will develop, maintain, update, and distribute/deliver educational materials and training specific to DoD Risk Management processes. The contractor shall participate actively on multiple IPTs, facilitating risk management efforts (i.e., risk identification, assessment, and mitigation planning) and providing the risk management subject matter expertise needed to fulfill the critical planning and execution requirements that contribute to program success.
- Shall manage program and portfolio level risks and issues within the Project Recon risk management tool, assigning user permissions within the product office, providing training on an as needed basis, and working with the application's manufacturer to improve functionality of the tool.
- Shall coordinate, schedule, and facilitate all Risk Management Boards within the Joint Project Management Office.
- Ensure JPM CBRN Medical product compliance with ASA(ALT) and JPEO rules, regulations, and guidance for program Risk, Issue, and Opportunity reporting in the Program Management Resource Tool (PMRT), ensuring data is kept up to date and system timelines are met. Contractor shall also ensure compliance with any future information system requirements as directed by leadership.
- Shall prepare and distribute formal risk reports containing analyses and recommendations to organizational leadership. In addition, the contractor shall present these reports, for each program of record within the program office, to the risk management board(s).
- Shall review and assess technical, cost, and schedule data and work with Government staff to identify shortfalls and potential corrective actions.
- Review and provide input to acquisition documentation in support of program milestone decisions and IPRs. The contractor shall provide input to support annual, monthly, and weekly recurring reports, as needed.
- Shall obtain and maintain all information regarding the projects and events he/she is responsible for managing and provide updates on issues, upcoming meetings, briefings, and taskers related to assigned projects, both orally and in written form.
- Must meet assigned deadlines.
- Shall advise and assist the Acquisition Directorate and Program Managers with other duties as assigned as it relates to program management and DoD Acquisition.
Qualifications
Necessary Skills and Knowledge:
- Shall possess working knowledge of, and be fully conversant with, the Defense Acquisition System, Adaptive Acquisition Framework; including, acquisition processes and policies as outlined in the DoDI 5000.02, relating it to product development, production, and sustainment.
- Shall possess an in-depth knowledge of the DoD risk management process (i.e., identifying, analyzing, mitigating, documenting, tracking and reporting risks).
- Shall possess the capability to lead projects or tasks which involve tracking risk and providing constant status or process oversight. The contractor shall possess working knowledge and experience applying the Risk Management Guide for DoD Acquisition.
- Knowledge of DoD acquisition and life cycle management policies, procedures, and practices; and can apply the DoDI 5000.02 process to the development of medical products and systems.
- Shall possess an ability to write, review, and staff high-level staff action papers, studies, policies, and acquisition documents. The contractor shall possess an ability to independently manage, synchronize, and track multiple, complex, and cross-functional actions.
- Possess comprehensive knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite of software, with specific experience in effective use of Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
- Possess the ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, among a variety of audiences. The contractor must be able to work independently.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 - 7 years of relevant experience.
- Shall possess experience in project management, engineering management, DoD acquisition, or another related subject of comparable complexity and responsibility.
- Must have a Secret clearance
