Description
The Multi-Domain Solutions Division at Leidos currently has openings for a Network Engineer to work in our Orlando, FL office . Our team support s the Advanced Battle Management System’s (ABMS) Digital Infrastructure (DI) Network Manager program . In this mission we support the Department of the Air Force (DAF) to field and operate the ABMS Digital Infrastructure , which is foundational in creating a unified command-and-control infrastructure connecting/ integrating sensors, data streams, and weapon systems across all domains (air, land, sea, cyber, and space). This will ultimately allow U.S. forces from all services — as well as allies and partners — to sense, make sense and act upon a vast array of data and information faster than adversaries can detect and respond to.

Pay Range: Pay Range $89,700.00 - $162,150.00

Primary Responsibilities .
- Provide Network Engineering support to include planning, designing, and evaluating specific network architecture.
- Develop and manage policies and profiles to optimize application delivery and security.
- Work with Tier 2 Managers to establish regular monitoring of network devices to ensure optimal performance.
- Conduct regular security assessments and implement necessary updates and patches.
- Work closely with network engineers, system administrators, and application developers to ensure seamless integration of network solutions , to include installation, configuration, and maintenance of Juniper network hardware and software.
- Provide technical expertise to resolve networking issues/ events, as well as update and configure equipment while maintaining a configuration management process throughout the systems life cycle.
Basic Qualifications .
- BA/BS or equivalent experience and 10 + years or prior relevant experience or MS with 8 + years or prior relevant experience. Additional years of experience can be considered in lieu of degrees
- Experience with configuring, activating, testing, and analyzing network systems
- Experience in the following areas:
- Python script development
- Elasticsearch / Logstash / Kibana
- Linux systems administration
- Windows systems administration
- Ability to work in a team environment, but self-driven to complete assignments while continually developing proficiencies in processes
- Strong written and verbal communications, team building and collaboration skills.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI Clearance.
Preferred Qualifications .
- Juniper Certified or Cisco Certified
- RedHat s upport experience.
- SD-WAN experience
- Prior experience with SAFe Agile implementation
- Previous experience working on complex multi-domain systems
- Experience with large weapons systems and command and control platforms across the DoD portfolio
- Experience with design of Cloud and Edge Computing and Network
