Responsibilities
- Support the PSM and Detachment OIC in ensuring compliance with all relevant DoD, DoN, and program-specific security policies, with a focus on Advanced Sensor Technology (AST)
- Identify and assess Critical Program Information (CPI) and unique system characteristics crucial to mission success
- Conduct criticality analyses to identify mission-critical functions and components
- Perform risk assessments to evaluate and control threats to CPI and critical components; recommend appropriate countermeasures
- Collaborate with program management to identify contractual mechanisms for enforcing security requirements with industry partners
- Develop, implement, and maintain a program protection management plan specific to Pt. Mugu operations
- Prepare and deliver briefings, white papers, and status reports addressing program protection issues and countermeasures
- Monitor and assess security-related training gaps within the AST workforce; provide recommendations for remediation
- Contribute site-specific inputs to Security Indoctrination, Multi-Level Posture Training (MLPT), and Annual Refresher Training materials
- Provide additional support to the PSM, Program Protection Planning (PPP) Lead, and Detachment OIC as required
Qualifications
- Must have a current Top Secret/SSBI clearance with SCI Eligibility
- U.S. Citizenship Required for the purposes of obtaining/holding a U.S. security clearance
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Management, or an Engineering Discipline and 10-12 years of experience
- OR Master's and 8-10 years of relevant experience
- At least 5 years relevant experience with a DoD agency, preferably in program acquisition/security education
- Detailed understanding of the DoD Acquisition process and a Program Office's role within that process (ACAT-1, required documents etc.)
- 4+ years supporting SAP programs and efforts
- Knowledgeable of DoD/DoN and SAP Security processes and requirements
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, particularly in preparing formal documentation and briefings
- Ability to work independently in a classified environment and interact effectively with senior government personnel
- This position is currently 100% on site in Point Mugu, CA
