Salary Range: IRES-ENL1 - Lead Engineer Step 1 CAT 80
• Average Salary $131,000 (Range $121,000 - $141,000)
Shift/Work Hours: Full Time – Onsite, (Remote/Telework: Not available for this position)
Minimum Basic Requirements:
• Secret Clearance
• Bachelor’s degree
• Systems engineering experience
• Experience in leadership roles (e.g. direct reports, technical projects)
• Strong knowledge of systems engineering frameworks (e.g. DoDAF, UAF, TOGAF)
• Strong knowledge of modeling languages (e.g. SySML, UML)
• Experience using model-based SE tools (DOORs, Cameo, Rhapsody, etc.)
• Excellent analytical thinking, strategic planning, and effective communication
Job Description:
The Digital Engineering Lead supports the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) on the Integrated Research and Development for Enterprise Solutions (IRES) contract. The candidate will:
• Drive culture and adoption of MBSE throughout the organization by promoting the use of MBSE and providing training and support to the team.
• Provide systems engineering leadership to a diverse team consisting of traditional SEs, Model-Based SEs, CM Analysts, Enterprise Architects, Program and Data analysts.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams by working closely with various engineering disciplines and departments to ensure a cohesive and integrated SE approach.
• Manage, mentor, and teach engineers in the development of model-based environments and transformation of manual document-based environments and processes.
• Communicate complex engineering technical information to team members of various backgrounds and disciplines.
• Provide status and briefings to leadership, to include senior government customers and stakeholders.
