The salary range for this role is 101,000 USD - 203,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. What You Will Do
- Lead a team of about 20 engineers.
- Break down large tasks into smaller features for the various teams.
- Lead discussions with the team about design and the technical decomposition of the work.
- Provide input on employee evaluations.
- Considered a program Subject Matter Expert (SME) for internal and external scope management, software implementation, and supporting functions.
- Mentors and provides understanding to new and existing team members.
Qualifications You Must Have
- Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience.
- Experience leading software engineering teams in an enterprise environment.
- Experience with design the automation of software delivery via GitLab/Jenkins and scripts (Python).
- Eight (8) years of experience in object-oriented software design and development using C++ and Java, Spring framework in a Linux environment and using unit testing tools (e.g., JUnit).
- Experience with Kubernetes to support deliveries and troubleshooting OPS.
- Active and transferable U.S. government issued TS/SCI security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Qualifications We Prefer
- Current Security+ certification.
- Experience using the Atlassian tool suite.
- Understanding of DevOps principals.
- Interpersonal and presentation skills.
