Blu Omega is seeking a Drupal Lead to oversee the operations and modernization of multiple client-managed websites on a remote basis. This role is heavily focused on infrastructure management rather than content, and includes oversight of technical operations, platform upgrades, and strategic planning.

You will lead a small, agile team consisting of Business Analysts and Developers, while serving as the main point of contact for the client. This role is a blend of management and technical work, ideal for someone who can think strategically, manage technical resources, and ensure high availability and security of web platforms.

Key Responsibilities
Serve as the primary point of contact for the client, overseeing the strategic direction and day-to-day operations of managed externally facing websites.
Manage the web infrastructure, focusing on platform structure, operations & maintenance (O&M), and security posture.
Lead and mentor a cross-functional team of Business Analysts and Developers, ensuring tasks are well defined, scoped, and completed on time.
Drive demand planning and execution—gather requirements, develop “get well” plans for platform upgrades, and oversee modernization initiatives.
Operate in an Agile environment with 2-week sprints, handling incident tickets and incoming development requests.
Collaborate with the client and internal team to prioritize work, plan upgrades, and enhance the existing platforms on an on-prem infrastructure.

Qualifications
U.S. Citizenship is required
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field
Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in web infrastructure or operations management
Proven experience managing small technical teams and interfacing directly with clients
Solid understanding of web infrastructure, security principles, and platform lifecycle management
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and sprint planning
Comfortable working in an O&M-focused environment (no major build-outs or greenfield projects)
Preferred Skills
Experience with on-premises hosting environments
Familiarity with ticketing systems and incident management
Strong communication and strategic planning skills
Ability to create and execute modernization roadmaps and platform upgrade plans
