Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary subject matter expert for U.S. immigration processes, delivering expert-level consultation and support across employment-based visa and green card casework.
- Coordinate and manage case preparation, review, and filings (H-1B, L-1, O-1, TN, E-3, PERM, I-140, I-485), ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant execution.
- Advise business units, HR, recruiters, and hiring managers on immigration case strategy, timelines, and documentation.
- Act as the first point of contact for employee inquiries, managing escalations and ensuring an excellent stakeholder experience.
- Maintain deep knowledge of U.S. immigration law and agency procedures (DOL, USCIS, DOS); track legal updates and assist with policy alignment.
- Oversee business travel compliance tracking and documentation for cross-border activity in the Americas.
- Manage vendor relationships, guide service providers on Boeing-specific practices, and monitor performance against SLAs.
- Participate in audits, regulatory responses, and public access file and I-9 record maintenance.
- Support process improvement initiatives, system upgrades, and internal compliance tools.
- Deliver immigration training and compliance education to HR, legal, and business stakeholders.
- Collaborate with global mobility, tax, legal, and government affairs teams to ensure integrated immigration support.
- Represent the company in communications with U.S. government agencies when necessary.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree required. Paralegal certification preferred.
- Clearance: Must pass a credit check.
- Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in U.S. business immigration (corporate or law firm setting).
- Experience handling high-volume, complex employment-based immigration cases independently.
- Proven ability to manage and respond to audits, agency requests, and vendor governance.
- In-depth understanding of DOL, USCIS, and DOS compliance frameworks.
- Experience with immigration platforms (e.g., LawLogix, Tracker, INSZoom).
- Proficiency with I-9 compliance, E-Verify, and public access file documentation.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Experience working in highly regulated industries such as aerospace, defense, or technology.
- Multilingual capabilities (Spanish or Portuguese) preferred for regional coordination.
