Description

Leidos is seeking an experienced Effects Coordinator to support the APOLLO program, a flagship initiative integrating full-spectrum influence and information activities across the joint operational environment. This role is pivotal in synchronizing non-kinetic and influence-related effects to ensure alignment with the commander’s intent, operational phasing, and strategic messaging objectives.

This position is on a future contract pending award announcement.

The ideal candidate will bring a deep understanding of joint operations, influence targeting, and the planning and execution of effects across the Information Environment (IE), with a proven ability to operate in dynamic, multi-domain environments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Synchronize and integrate Information Force capabilities (MISO, Cyber, Public Affairs, Civil-Affairs, OPSEC, MILDEC) with operational plans and targeting cycles.
  • Support the development, tracking, and assessment of Measures of Performance (MOPs) and Measures of Effectiveness (MOEs) across influence operations.
  • Participate in Joint Operations Planning Process (JOPP) and Military Decision-Making Process (MDMP) cycles to embed OIE effects early in planning efforts.
  • Coordinate with J39, J3, and interagency partners to ensure information activities reinforce physical operations.
  • Maintain real-time situational awareness of adversary information activities and assess OIE effectiveness.
  • Integrate and synchronize Information Forces to support strategic and operational objectives.
  • Contribute to the development of influence targeting strategies and operational narrative.


Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in International Relations, Military Studies, Strategic Communication, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in military operations, with at least 3 years in IO, targeting, or effects coordination roles. Additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
  • Strong working knowledge of JP 3-13 and influence/information-related capabilities.
  • Experience supporting Combatant Commands, Joint Task Forces, or Special Operations elements.
  • Familiarity with JOPP, MDMP, and joint targeting processes.
  • Excellent collaboration and cross-functional coordination skills.

  • Active TS/SCI required

Pay Range: Pay Range $89,700.00 - $162,150.00
