Position Summary:
Analytic Services Inc. (ANSER) is seeking an O&MPD Manpower Management Office (MMO) & Information Management and Technology (I&MT) Technical Writer & Support Team Lead to support the O&MPD MMO and I&MT under the Office of the Director of Administration and Management (ODA&M). In this role, you will work with government Subject Matter Expert's (SMEs), creating and modifying manpower management and governance-focused guidebooks, professional instructions, training materials, articles, and publications for the ODA&M MMO. As a task lead, you will have management & supervisory responsibilities to include staff coordination, biannual reviews and performance assessments, time and attendance tracking, and mentorship of junior team members.

Position Summary:
Analytic Services Inc. (ANSER) is seeking an O&MPD Manpower Management Office (MMO) & Information Management and Technology (I&MT) Technical Writer & Support Team Lead to support the O&MPD MMO and I&MT under the Office of the Director of Administration and Management (ODA&M). Day to Day Responsibilities:
- Create comprehensive documents, visuals, and diagrams, in accordance with both legal and approved DoD, ODA&M, and MMO templates and guidance.
- Evaluate existing content and develop strategies for both MMO program improvement and product refinement.
- Review content of technical and professional written material, in accordance with the DoD Guides and Manuals on written correspondence.
- Evaluate community training needs to plan, create, and implement a training program suitable for the serviced DoD community of practice.
- Plan and execute data gathering efforts, in coordination with MMO staff.
- Evaluate, edit, and prepare content for professional correspondence, projects, packages, the MMO SharePoint, and newsletter content, and other efforts as directed by the MMO.
- Coordinate with MMO team to ensure guidance and materials are in sync.
- Synthesize large amounts of data, identifying common threads and connections to assist in the development of briefing materials for MMO decision making.
- Identify root cause problems and recommend innovative solutions.
- Program Support Team Lead functions as required.
- Other responsibilities and duties as assigned by the MMO and O&MPD Leadership.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree.
- 8+ years' experience with technical writing and program operations within DoD
- A minimum of an Interim Top Secret clearance is required at date of hire.
- Recent and relevant experience supporting the MMO Client (Within the past 3 years).
- Experience leading teams of 4-6 Analysts and support staff across diverse subject taskings.
- Knowledge and understanding of the DoD 5110.04-M, "DoD Manual for Written Material" Volumes 1 and 2, DoD Directive 1100.4, "Guidance for Manpower Management", and associated processes and procedures used throughout the Manpower Management program.
- Demonstrated experience as an author, editor and analyst for official documents and written packages (memos, papers, strategies, etc.) with the ability to logically present information.
- Highly proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite of applications, especially Word, Excel, and, SharePoint, Teams, and PowerPoint.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with the Program Manager and Senior Contract Manager to ensure high levels of staff and client satisfaction and success.
- High level of proficiency of the English language, both written and oral.
- High Emotional Quotient (EQ) with the ability to connect with diverse audiences.
- Strong people skills with the ability to objectively view requirements and evolve operations to maximize efficiencies.
