Eagle Harbor, a subsidiary of Three Saints Bay, LLC and a federal contracting leader is looking for an Information Systems Security Engineer. The Information System Security Engineer supports the Information System Security Manager (ISSM) and the National Training Center (NTC) security and management staffs with the deployment, development, operation, and maintenance of NTC cyber security solutions and supports the NTC Information System Security Officer (ISSO) by providing technical subject matter expertise during the assessment and authorization (A&A) of NTC information systems in accordance with the Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA) and Department of Energy (DOE) requirements. The ISSE also reviews audit data for suspicious activity to protect information and prevent unauthorized access, performs asset vulnerability and compliance audits, reviews change requests, and hardware and software requests. The ISSE responds to computer security incidents and participates in exercises as a member of the NTC Incident Response Team. This position will be located in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Description of Responsibilities:
- The Information Systems Security Engineer (ISSE) shall perform, or review, technical security assessments of computing environments to identify points of vulnerability, non-compliance with established Information Assurance (IA) standards and regulations, and recommend mitigation strategies
- Performing or reviewing technical security assessments of computing environments to identify points of vulnerability, non-compliance with established Information Assurance (IA) standards and regulations, and recommending mitigation strategies
- Maintain cyber security software and hardware solutions by staying current with updates, troubleshooting, configuration changes, and evaluation.
- Support all NTC Information Assurance (IA) processes in a technical manner in compliance with established policies and guidance.
- Assist the Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM) in the planning, organization, maintenance and compliance of federal information systems in accordance with National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Risk Management Framework (RMF), and FISMA.

• Global Information Assurance Certification - GIAC Certified Intrusion Analyst
Required Skills and Experience:
- Familiarity with conducting research and analysis as it pertains to both information technologies and security principles
- Practical knowledge of networking, system administration, application security, vulnerability management, compliance management, identity and access management
- Familiarity with Microsoft M365 SaaS, Windows Domains, Linux operating systems
- Strong interpersonal skills (e.g., ability to work effectively on teams, work/interact effectively and amicably with people from diverse backgrounds and cultures and with diverse personal attributes)
- Effective communication skills (i.e., ability to present ideas effectively in formal and informal situations and convey thoughts clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing)
- Strong planning, organizational, and time management skills (i.e., ability to effectively plan, organize, and prioritize work, and to control and follow up to assure work completion).
- Demonstrated initiative (i.e. initiate appropriate action without being directed) and ability to work independently.

Desired Skills and Experience: - Familiarity with Splunk, Tenable, FortiNet, ForeScout, CrowdStrike or similar solutions.
