Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Automated Test Equipment (ATE) Support Engineer to join us in Ocala, Florida. This role is critical in supporting the operation, calibration, and maintenance of test stations used for optical and electrical checks during production. The ideal candidate will also play a key role in root cause analysis and corrective action implementation for both test station and production unit failures.

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Automated Test Equipment (ATE) Support Engineer to join us in Ocala, Florida. This role is critical in supporting the operation, calibration, and maintenance of test stations used for optical and electrical checks during production. The ideal candidate will also play a key role in root cause analysis and corrective action implementation for both test station and production unit failures.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate, calibrate, and maintain automated test stations used in production.
- Support optical and electrical testing of production units.
- Conduct root cause failure analysis for failed units and test stations.
- Recommend and implement corrective actions based on analysis findings.
- Collaborate with manufacturing engineering to resolve production issues.
- Document findings and maintain accurate records of test station performance.
- Apply a wide range of technical principles and general knowledge of related disciplines.
- Ability to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance (Requires US Citizenship)
- Bachelor's degree in a related discipline with 5+ years of professional experience, or 3+ years with a related Master's degree.
- 1-2 years of experience with Power Electronics.
- 2-4 years of experience in Production environments.
- 2-4 years of experience in Electrical Testing.
- 2-4 years of experience with User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- 1-2 years of experience with Validation Test Plans.
- 1-2 years of experience working with Test Stations in a Production Environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Active Secret Clearance
- Familiarity with lab equipment such as DMMs, oscilloscopes, and power supplies.
- Experience troubleshooting test equipment using schematics and documentation.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Excellent documentation and communication skills.
