Our client is seeking a System Integration & Test Engineer to support the planning, implementation, testing, and maintenance of integrated hardware and software systems. This role involves working with both in-house developed and COTS/GOTS components to ensure seamless system functionality and performance. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem-solver with strong technical acumen and a collaborative mindset.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, implement, test, document, and maintain system integration solutions.
  • Translate customer requirements into effective test strategies within technical, schedule, and cost constraints.
  • Define functional and technical specifications, solve hardware/software interface issues, and ensure full system integration.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, procedures, and schedules.
  • Coordinate testing activities across subsystems and programs.
  • Analyze test results and prepare detailed evaluation reports to verify and validate system performance.
  • Write discrepancy reports and conduct regression testing to confirm resolution of issues.
Basic Qualifications:
  • Active Secret Clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools for reporting and documentation.
  • Experience developing and maintaining software using LabVIEW and/or NI TestStand.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks independently.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 9+ years of professional experience in system integration and testing.
  • Expertise in measuring electrical parameters for components and subassemblies.
  • Subject matter expertise in RF or Microwave systems.
  • Proven success developing complex test programs using NI LabVIEW/TestStand.
  • Experience specifying components for test equipment design.
  • Skilled in troubleshooting down to the instrument, fixture, software, or unit under test.
  • Proficiency in creating engineering documentation (e.g., block diagrams, parts lists).
  • Familiarity with Corrective/Preventative Action (CAPA) processes.
  • Experience deriving test requirements from system-level specifications.
  • Ability to identify and document hardware discrepancies.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience preparing and delivering technical presentations and trade studies.
An ACTIVE U.S. Government Security Clearance is Required to be considered for this role.
