We are seeking an IT Manager to work at our client's site in Washington, DC (WNY) supporting the Naval Systems Engineering & Logistics Directorate (NAVSEA 05).
NAVSEA 05 is responsible for providing the engineering and scientific expertise, knowledge, and technical authority necessary to design, build, maintain, repair, modernize, certify, and dispose of the Navy's ships, submarines, and associated warfare systems.
Salary range: $120,000 to $150,000 with some flexibility depending on education and experience.

Responsibilities:
• Sets goals for the IT department and works with upper management and clients to deliver specific software programs designed to perform a variety of tasks.
• Communicates and coordinates with team members to design, program, and deliver computer programs and related technologies to clients, customers, and staff.
• Oversees the testing, delivery, and troubleshooting of IT applications, as well as web development and network security protocols.
Basic Qualifications:
• Active Secret Clearance
• 10+ years of experience managing IT systems and IT systems support for Navy/DoD customers or directly for Navy/DoD.
• DoD-approved Information Assurance baseline certification at Information Assurance Management (IAM) Level I in accordance with DoD Directive 8570.01-M (Information Assurance Workforce Improvement Program).
• Experience with Navy IT systems including:
o Navy Marine Corps Intranet (NMCI)
o DoD Information Technology Portfolio Repository-DoN (DITPR-DON)
o DoN Application and Database Management System (DADMS)
