Pay: $165,000-185,000

Summary:
We are looking for a talented and strategic Director of Trade Accounts Receivable to join the team. This role will oversee the centralized Accounts Receivable, Cash Application, and Billing Support functions.

In this role, you will:
• Work closely with the AR Managers, Collection Specialists, Operations personnel, and Accounting to drive efforts in the collection of customer amounts due.
• Directly assist with the resolution and /or provide directions in the resolution of complex customer receivable-related issues.
• Develop, update, communicate, and enforce Collection’s policies and procedures.
• Actively manage the Company’s financial risks through analysis and thorough understanding of material collection issues as well as active communication with Operations, Accounting, and Legal (when necessary).
• Maintain a detailed and comprehensive Bad Debt Reserve (when necessary).
• Provide a formalized monthly AR management report. Use sound judgment to know when specific customer issues need to be directly communicated to executive management and provide this communication in a clear and concise manner both in written and verbal form.
• Ensure that all control requirements are fully met for all areas in Accounts Receivable and Cash Applications.
• Support all acquisition initiatives and system conversions, driving completion and implementation of Accounts Receivable-related components.

What you bring to the organization:
• A Bachelor’s degree in a related field from an accredited four-year college or university is required
• Experience managing $10+ billion
• 10 years’ experience in the related field with 5 years of management experience
• Experience in managing relationship-based collections in a high-dollar and high-volume environment preferred.
• Proven ability to manage and resolve complex issues through analysis, research, creativity, and negotiation, and hands-on experience with system conversions and acquisitions is preferred
• The employee must occasionally lift and /or move up to 10 pounds.
