Position Description:
The Senior Scheduler will provide scheduling/proposal support for the Science Projects Branch under the NASA CPSS contract at Marshall Space Flight Center (MSFC). This position is located in our Huntsville, AL office with work performed at client site in Marshall Space Flight Center; however, a hybrid working model is acceptable.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
Independently develop science instrument development logic based detailed schedules including proposal schedules and full project life cycle schedules for all projects in accordance with all relevant industry standards and NASA guidelines.
Integrate distinct project logic-based schedules weekly to provide resource analysis and integrated schedule views for constrained resources across projects.
Integrate multiple sub-projects into program level Integrated Master Schedules.
Conduct schedule health checks and develop schedule metrics on a weekly/monthly basis.
Attend weekly project meetings and meet with project personnel and subject matter experts to gather schedule information and status.
Provide weekly/monthly schedule status packages including one-page summaries, project critical paths, variance reports, and risk mitigation strategies.
Conduct What If scenarios on project and proposal schedules to determine buy-back schedule options and create risk mitigation strategies.
Be familiar with implementation and management of scheduling tools and schedule health checks.
Provide expert scheduling guidance and analysis across multiple projects with rapidly changing programmatic conditions and very short turnaround times.
Assist project management customers with creative schedule optimization and problem solving.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
Extensive eExperience performing schedule analyses to include but not limited to probabilistic schedule risk analysis, and critical path analysis, driving path analysis, variance analysis, margin utilization, and schedule health analysis.
Extensive experience developing/managing schedules in accordance with GAO Best Practices for Project Schedules.
Experience using Milestones Professional and schedule risk tools (Full Monte, Acumen Fuse, SSI, etc.) desired.

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $69,700.00 - $154,300.00.
