System Administrator

Job Description

Base-2 Solutions is seeking a System Administrator (SA-1) to support DevOps team on VISTA TTO. This role requires a self-motivated individual who can collaborate with the development team, capabilities providers, and mission customers to migrate existing applications and services off legacy hardware and onto enterprise compute frameworks.

Required Education

• Five (5) years experience as a SA in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
• Five (5) years of additional SA experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.

Required Skills

• Proven knowledge and experience with Linux.
• Bash scripting experience.
• Experience in the design, installation, configuration, and maintenance of computer systems and services.
• Ability to collaborate with software development team to deploy, test, monitor, and operate customer applications and services.
• Collaborate with Information System Security Engineer and Officers (ISSE/O) to conduct patching and configuration changes required to maintain existing System Security Plans (SSP).
• This position requires in-scope poly, within 7 years.
