As an Acquisition Technical Advisor with MTSI you will support a government organization essential to U.S. national security. In this position you will apply knowledge and expertise in ensuring the planning and execution of complex aircraft, subsystem, and propulsion acquisition and development activities.
Responsibilities:
• Primary experience with DoD acquisitions process to include RFP and SOW generation, contract types, incentive structures, contract milestones and approvals, and source selections.
• Primary experience operating, planning, and executing complex propulsion engineering activities within the DoD acquisitions lifecycle.
• Willingness to perform novel acquisition pathways and processes.
• Provide internal 'red teaming' to refine planning and execution success.
• Serve as technical advisor to military and civilian leadership on best practices and historical lessons learned from previous source selections and aircraft and propulsion acquisition programs.
• Experience with low-observable propulsion techniques and methods.
• Experience with Science & Technology demonstration, research & development programs and accessing TRL and applicability to programs of record.
Must have 20+ years of experience
Required TDY travel approximately 20%.
Required Education:
REQUIRED: BS/BA Degree in Engineering
PREFERRED: MS/MA Degree in Engineering
Clearance Requirements:
• Active TS/SCI clearance required
• Must be eligible for Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) and Special Access Programs (SAP) access.
• U.S. Citizenship is required for this position.
