BDR is seeking a Proposal Manager to join our growing team! This position will be performed virtually from the individual's home office working on EST time schedule. This position requires US Citizenship with a Public Trust or the ability to obtain one.

Role Overview
The Proposal Manager will lead and manage the proposal development process from pre-RFP to submission. This individual will work closely with the Director of Proposals, Solutions Architects, Capture Managers, Technical Writers, Executives, external partners, and other stakeholders to ensure proposals are compliant, compelling, and delivered on time. This role will also support administrative functions for growth operations, including general research, copy editing, and sales pipeline updates. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and possess excellent communication and time management skills.

Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the proposal development process from identification to submission.
- Develop proposal schedules, outlines, and compliance matrices.
- Coordinate and schedule proposal kick-off meetings, status meetings, and reviews.
- Format and edit proposal documents to ensure compliance with RFP requirements and company branding guidelines.
- Proofread proposal documents for grammar, spelling, and punctuation errors.
- Maintain proposal document libraries and version control.
- Collect and organize proposal data calls and responses.
- Support the development of proposal graphics and presentations.
- Conduct research and gather information in support of the Growth team.
- Prepare proposal color team reviews.
- Provide various support services (e.g., opportunity research, sales pipeline updates, repository updates) for the Growth team.
Required Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- 5-8 years of experience in proposal management or a related field, preferably within the government contracting industry.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented and deadline-driven.
- Experience with MS SharePoint.
- Familiarity with government contracting processes and procedures
