SharePoint Engineer, Mid

Key Role:

Support projects that directly impact clients, end-users, and supporting staff. Manage the Microsoft 365 ecosystem, integrating SharePoint with Microsoft Teams for collaboration, managing and syncing documents with OneDrive, and using Power Platform tools like Power Automate, Power Apps, and Power BI for workflows, custom project management dashboards, and data visualization. Automate administrative tasks and manage the SharePoint environment using various tools. Enhance SharePoint functionality using Visual Studio to set up and organize projects, navigate and manage organization files, and integrate applications. Write client-side scripts, design and style web pages, and use project templates for web parts, workflows, and application pages. Perform debugging, unit testing, version control, and creation of reusable controls and components. Package solutions for deployment and set up automated build and deployment pipelines using CI/CD, while optimizing code performance and resolving bottlenecks through profiling. Create and manage site collections, sites, and subsites, manage user permissions and security groups, and customize sites. Manage and organize content within document libraries, implement and manage metadata and taxonomy for better content organization. Troubleshoot, support, identify, and resolve issues related to performance, accessibility, and functionality, and provide support and training to end-users. Ensure integration with SharePoint with other Microsoft products, such as Office 365, Teams, and OneDrive, and develop custom solutions using development tools.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience with working in a classified environment
  • 3+ years of experience with Visual Studio
  • 3+ years of experience with coding and development
  • Experience with meeting stakeholder, user, and team member requirements
  • Experience with managing SharePoint projects, such as upgrades and migrations
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology and 3+ years of experience in SharePoint engineering or 7+ years of experience in SharePoint engineering in lieu of a degree
  • IAT Level II or higher Certification


Additional Qualifications:

  • Possession of excellent analytical skills
  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Microsoft Certification preferred


Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $62,000.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
