Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $120000 - $204000
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.

Intelligence & Security (I&S), based in McLean, Virginia, designs and delivers advanced defense, intelligence, and security solutions that support the important missions of our customers. - BAE Systems, Inc. is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager who will serve as a business partner with assigned customers through understanding desired business outcomes required at a tactical and strategic level. This role will support the Integration Support Contract (ISC) Business Unit, and report directly to the Air & Space Force Solutions (ASFS) HR Leader. This position will be based out of Hill AFB, UT.
Other duties/responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with business operations and stakeholders to implement HR policies, resolve issues, and drive business outcomes
- Develop and execute a people strategy that supports critical business priorities, talent attraction, development, and retention, and prepares the organization for the future of work
- Mitigate human capital risks and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Foster a positive and inclusive work culture through proactive employee relations, manager coaching, and partnership with business leaders
- Lead and partner with HR Centers of Expertise to deliver world-class HR services and programs that address business needs and drive success
- Serve as a liaison for key HR areas, including succession planning, talent management, employment, employee relations, employee engagement, compensation, benefits, EEO, and training and development
- Identify and develop top talent and succession candidates, and support Management Readiness Review planning
- Coach and counsel business leaders on organizational development, leadership effectiveness, and team performance
- Drive change management and project execution for key HR and business initiatives
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or in a related discipline
- Minimum 10 years of experience in HR leadership, HR business partnering, organizational development, or a related field
- Proven expertise in employee relations, including conflict resolution, mediation, and negotiation
- Successful track record of supervising high-performing teams, including talent development, coaching, and performance management
- Results-driven professional with a collaborative mindset, able to drive business outcomes, adapt to changing priorities, and work effectively with cross-functional teams to achieve strategic objectives in a dynamic and complex environment
- Ability to collect, analyze, and interpret complex data sets to inform business decisions and drive strategic outcomes
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office, including expertise in data analysis and visualization using Excel, and presentation design using PowerPoint
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment in the performance of responsibilities
- Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Secret or Top Secret security clearance (U.S. Citizenship is required)
- Must be willing to travel up to 10%
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
- Active DoD security clearance
- Experience working within shared services HR delivery model
- Previous experience working for a government defense contractor
- Proven experience serving as a coach to senior leaders for their organization on HR matters relating to organizational strategies and business imperatives.
- Analytical skills to draw appropriate conclusions from data, anticipating second and third order of effects when making recommendations.
- Certified by HRCI as PHR/SPHR and/or SHRM as SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP
