Summary:
D9Tech Resources, LLC is seeking a highly qualified Senior VDI & Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to support a national security customer through AWS Professional Services. This individual will help design, implement, and maintain secure, scalable Citrix-based VDI environments hosted in AWS. The role will include infrastructure modernization, system migration, and integration with Active Directory and enterprise security services.
Responsibilities:
Architect and deploy Citrix VDI solutions in AWS GovCloud and hybrid environments.
Migrate legacy infrastructure and Windows VMs to AWS.
Administer and integrate Microsoft Active Directory, endpoint security, and authentication services.
Implement infrastructure-as-code and automation for provisioning and configuration management.
Collaborate with AWS and customer stakeholders to align technical solutions with mission objectives.
Support unified communications systems, security services, and user access policies.
Troubleshoot and resolve performance issues across virtual desktop infrastructure and cloud platforms.
Requirements:
5+ years of professional experience in IT systems engineering or cloud infrastructure.
3–5+ years of hands-on experience with Citrix VDI design and operations.
Strong proficiency with Microsoft Active Directory, Windows Server, and VM administration.
Experience migrating workloads to AWS (GovCloud preferred); familiarity with AWS Control Tower is a plus.
Working knowledge of infrastructure-as-code (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation) and scripting tools (e.g., PowerShell, Bash).
Understanding of networking, DNS, endpoint security, and system hardening in secure environments.
Clearance: Active TS/SCI with Full Scope Poly (FSP) and IC Green Badge (no exceptions).
