ManTech seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Associate Operations Systems Specialist to join our team in the National Capital Region (NCR). This is a hybrid position with 4 days onsite and 1 day remote.
As an Associate Operations Systems Specialist, this individual will be crucial in ensuring the smooth daily operation of IT systems supporting government desktop services. Performs tasking in operations systems discipline areas (requirements and operations analysis; system vulnerability analysis; system plan and procedure development; design of back- up systems and C2 systems to ensure COOP and continuity of government; program support; system documentation; T&E, etc.) as directed. This entry-level role offers an excellent opportunity to learn and contribute to maintaining reliable IT infrastructure for federal agencies.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Assist in the day-to-day operations and maintenance of systems supporting government desktop services.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot basic operational issues to ensure service availability.
- Support data collection and reporting for operational metrics.
- Follow established procedures for system changes and incident management.
- Contribute to maintaining a secure and efficient IT environment for government users.
- Ensures the continued operations of systems to support the mission, minimizing down time
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field. 1+ years of experience. Experience working on cross functional teams. Experience utilizing Microsoft Office
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with operating systems (Windows) and basic networking concepts.
- Understanding of IT Service Management (ITSM) principles.
- Strong desire to learn and grow in an IT operations role within a government environment.
- Basic analytical and problem-solving skills.
Clearance Requirements:
- Ability to obtain active Secret Clearance
- Must be able to obtain a DHS Suitability
Physical Requirements:
- The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
