Modern Technology Solutions, Inc. (MTSI) is seeking an Executive Administrative Assistant to support the 53d Test and Evaluation Group (53d TEG) Experimental Operations Unit (EOU) at Creech AFB, NV. Candidate will be responsible for work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment supporting the initial standup and follow-on experimentation in the Air Force's first Collaborative Combat Aircraft (CCA) unit. This position has the primary responsibility of ensuring high-level administrative support to the Commander's office of the EOU. *Candidates must have an Active Secret Clearance for consideration.
The successful candidate will be able to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including engineers, operators, maintainers, and analysts, and will have strong problem-solving, adaptability, communication, leadership, and attention to detail skills.
Candidate will oversee functions of the Commander's Support Staff (CSS) including support and preparation for meetings, event coordination, calendar management, personnel administration, outside agency coordination, and overall management of the Commander's front office.

Candidate will oversee functions of the Commander's Support Staff (CSS) including support and preparation for meetings, event coordination, calendar management, personnel administration, outside agency coordination, and overall management of the Commander's front office.
Essential job functions will include but may not be limited to:
- Provide overall high-level admin support to the military commander of personnel in the Experimental Operations Unit
- Schedule meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements, including coordinating with internal and external stakeholders
- Manage complex calendars and resolve scheduling conflicts
- Draft, edit, and finalize official correspondence, including emails, memos, and letters ensuring adherence to Air Force style guides and regulations
- Maintain accurate and organized electronic and physical files, ensuring compliance with record management policies. This includes archiving and retrieving documents as needed
- Prepare meeting agendas, taking minutes, distributing materials, and coordinating logistics such as conference rooms and AV equipment
- Answer phones, screen calls, and direct inquiries to appropriate personnel. Communicate effectively with various levels of staff and external contacts.
- Utilize software tools for tracking tasks, assignments, and deadlines, and provide updates to unit leadership
- Assist with onboarding and offboarding of personnel, including processing paperwork
- Enter data into spreadsheets and databases, generating reports, and performing basic data analysis
- Organize official events, ceremonies, and conferences
- Support and track organizational and personnel awards (military or government), OPBs and other evaluations
Required Skills:
- Minimum of 3 years' experience working as an Administrative Assistant
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365
- This position will require a strong ability and willingness to work in a team environment, with demonstrated leadership, customer interface, and organizational skills.
Desired Skills/Experience:
- 6+ years of recent experience (within the last 10 years) with Administrative Assistant duties
- 3+ years working in administrative roles in a military environment
- 3+ years working in a classified environment (Secret level or higher)
Educational Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree OR 6 years of relevant experience + Associate's degree OR 9 years relevant experience
Security Clearance:
- Secret clearance required.
- Ability to obtain and maintain TS SCI/SAP clearances required. Current TS/SCI desired.
- All hires will be contingent on candidate meeting requirements for and gaining required security clearances.
- U.S. Citizenship is required for this position.
Travel Requirements:
- Routine travel is not expected but may be required based on mission requirements.
- Expectation is that work will be performed onsite.
- Occasional telework options may be available with approval from mission partner.
