The Cloud Engineer designs, implements, and manages cloud infrastructure across public, private, and hybrid environments to support customer operations. They will lead cloud automation using Infrastructure as Code and handle migrations, deployments, and updates across multi-cloud platforms. The engineer supports network segmentation, virtualization, and high availability using tools like Docker, Kubernetes, and SDN. They also contribute to disaster recovery planning, ensuring system resiliency, and following client security and change management protocols. By integrating new technologies and optimizing cloud performance, the Cloud Engineer helps modernize and maintain the customer's cloud-based network environment.

Job Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure across public, private, and hybrid environments.
- Automate deployments, updates, and maintenance using Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation).
- Migrate applications and systems between on-premises, cloud, and multi-cloud platforms.
- Optimize and support cloud hosting environments to meet customer business and technical requirements.
- Implement virtualization and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) for scalable and resilient solutions.
- Support logical network segmentation and software-defined networking (SDN) for secure traffic separation.
- Contribute to backup and disaster recovery planning for cloud-based infrastructure and services.
- Ensure compliance with client change management procedures and security frameworks.
- Monitor and improve cloud system performance, availability, and cost efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate emerging technologies and support SELC/OneSDLC processes.
- Provide input on cloud architecture designs and assist in maintaining customer's multi-cloud strategy.
Education:
- Bachelor's or a master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or a related field
Experience:
- Minimum of seven years of experience in network engineering, design, and implementation.
- Experience in enterprise-level networks, including data centers, cloud infrastructure, and large-scale WAN/LAN setups.
- Proven experience in managing and troubleshooting network protocols, such as TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP, and MPLS.
- Project management experience leading or working on network-related projects, including design, upgrades, or troubleshooting
Certifications:
- CISCO™ Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or
- CISCO™ Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE)
