Kavaliro is seeking a Service Desk Technician to support an important program in Doral, FL. This role plays a critical part in maintaining the stability and functionality of mission-essential IT systems. You will work in a secure environment where system uptime is crucial to success.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop computer system specifications that address business requirements and align with system architecture standards
- Collaborate with team members to communicate and troubleshoot issues effectively
- Resolve IT issues using knowledge of both hardware and software systems
- Provide high-quality support in a cleared, mission-oriented environment
- Ensure the continuity of critical IT systems that support key operational functions
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of hands-on experience troubleshooting IT systems
- Must be capable of resolving software and hardware-related issues
- Technical training or certifications in IT support or systems administration
- Must be DoD 8570 IAT Level II compliant (e.g., Security+ CE)
- Must be compliant with Operating System/Computing Environment certification requirements
Security Clearance:
- Must possess at least an Interim Secret clearance
- Must be able to obtain a fully adjudicated Top Secret/SCI clearance
Required Skills and Abilities:
- Strong logical thinking and calm problem-solving approach
- Ability to work under pressure in a mission-critical environment
Preferred Skills:
- Experience using a trouble ticketing system (e.g., Remedy, ServiceNow)
Work Environment:
This is a full-time onsite position in Cuba with no remote or telework options are available
