We are seeking a Senior Acquisition Specialist to support PMW 120's Acquisition Manager by managing and advising on acquisition strategies and documentation across a range of Navy programs and projects. This role involves engagement with statutory/regulatory acquisition processes-both traditional and through Adaptive Acquisition Frameworks-and coordination with functional and technical experts.

Required Skills
8+ years of experience in DoD acquisition organizations (ACAT I-IV and AAPs).
At least 3 years of direct experience supporting Navy systems acquisition.
Strong experience with Navy, SPAWAR, or PEO C4I programs and policies.
Understanding of the Defense Acquisition System including cost, schedule, and performance.
Knowledge of DoD/SecNAV 5000 series and Adaptive Acquisition Frameworks.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Certifications (Preferred):
DAWIA Level III in Program Management or PMP (or equivalent)
Demonstrated experience supporting ACAT I programs

Key Responsibilities:
Acquisition Execution
- Provide direct support to the PMW 120 Acquisition Manager for Navy acquisition efforts.
- Review and advise on statutory and regulatory documentation across acquisition milestones.
- Execute acquisition requirements in accordance with DoD 5000 series, OMB circulars, and related guidelines.
- Prepare acquisition documentation, including Initial Capabilities Document (ICD), Capability Development Document (CDD), and Capability Production Document (CPD).
Program and Risk Management
- Track and manage program tasks such as data calls, spend plans, scheduling, and reporting.
- Coordinate meetings and facilitate program planning with cross-functional teams.
- Identify and mitigate risks, dependencies, and performance issues throughout the program lifecycle.
- Develop and manage risk management strategies and consequence planning.
Scheduling Requirements
- Develop and manage Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) and Work Breakdown Structures (WBS).
- Incorporate real-time feedback and events to ensure milestone alignment.
